There are six cars on the Red Line train I take to and from work. I play a game once in a while where I'll start at the back of the last car in South Station and hop from car to car at each stop all the way to Central - subway hopscotch if you will.
Today I decided to document my game. It's tough at times trying to navigate between cars at packed stations like Park Street, almost missed getting in there. To complete this project I actually had to take the train one more stop to Harvard.
Why do I do it? I've always wondered what the math behind coming across people I've seen before while on the subway and figure I can boost my odds six-fold by moving from car to car. It’s purely a numbers game.
